Happy New Year, 2015!!!

First, I would just like to be one of the first people to wish you HAPPY NEW YEAR! Or maybe the first person to wish you that if you weren't parting at midnight like I was. What's nice about the new year is that it is a universal holiday, everyone celebrates it. It means that there are more parties than Christmas or Easter. Halloween is pretty hefty on its parties, though. In the spring, sense colleges don't have a homecoming or a prom I have to look to find a party to replace the one that I lack. What's nice about proms is that someone going can ask someone else to go with them that isn't in there school. Like me!

Happy 2015! It's about 12:00 AM in New York City right now; though 2015 doesn't reach Denver, CO for a few more hours. I'm glad to be at this party and wouldn't wish to anywhere else or to be anyone else. Later today I'll post how the party went, but so far it is going great! I'm looking forward to the new year!! GO 2015!!!

Happy New Year!

Well, is it really that time of year already? Time to bring out the new year's resolutions. Well, for most people. I never saw the point in changing my behavior. I like me! Why would I want to change me for a different personality when I'm already fine as I am. Also time for people 21+ to down lots of champagne and get drunk. But most of all, it is a time for parties! Below I have posted the song often referred to as the New Year's Song. Its called "Auld Lang Syne".

I have made my plans to go to a New Years Party on New Years Eve. Just like my Christmas party, it will start late in the day only it will go later. The Christmas party started around 8 PM and ended at 1 AM. The New Years Party will start at 7 PM and end about 3 AM. I look forward to telling you all about it! See you in 2015!!

Christmas Party - After

Remember my last post? [Christmas Party - Before] Well, now I would like to tell you how the party went. It was ... interesting to say the least. I go to many parties, but they can still surprise me. I guess that is because I don't always know all the people there. I guess the word I was looking for in my last post was romantic. The Christmas parties generally seem to be more of a take your date sort of thing. This Christmas Party was quite the exception. And the music was impressive. I'm use to a different kind of music, but this was no slow mistletoe tunes. There was a lot of interaction among the guests and lots of games being played. I got around to playing most of them. Some brought a Christmas version of Chutes and Ladders, there was Candy Canes for Ladders and a chimney for chutes. Going down was more fun than going up. I was jumping down those chimneys like Santa Claus, and on Christmas Eve of all time!
A Christmas version of Chutes and Ladders only with candy canes and chimneys instead of Ladders and Chutes.
At close to the beginning of the party we all decorated the Christmas Tree that was in the room. I don't know the the host had to get such a prickly tree! (At least it wasn't aluminium and it was good size.) Nearing the end of the party I started wondering if maybe there wasn't enough couples to have the traditional Christmas Party, so they put on a singles party. I'd go either way.

Christmas Party - Before

I got invited to a Christmas Party that is going to be tomorrow (Christmas Eve) from 8 PM to 1 AM on Christmas Day. I'm buying a dress for the occasion than I'm going to sell it to someone for New Years while I buy another dress. I'd keep the dress, but I need the money and I already have a similar dress that just doesn't seem to quite fit the occasion. I'm not a big party eater. After all, people go to parties to, well, party. However, I hope there are cupcakes there with little Christmas Trees on them. It would fit the theme, so I might stop and have one. Christmas parties seem to have a different atmosphere than a traditional party. What I mean by that is, a traditional party has a lot of dancing and occasionally one of the parties would have a main meal. Lots of group dancing music and all that good stuff. Christmas parties seem to be more lazy, slow and unenergetic. I like parties of all shapes and sizes and themes and I try hard to track them all down, but some seem rather bizarre to be considered parties. Regardless, I'll go and I'll dance and I'll post about it a few days from now.
